Bishop Lamario J. Looney, visionary, prophet in the faith, was born the only child of Evang. Angela F. Ross-jones . Bishop Looney recognized his calling to preach at age 8 and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at age 10. He accepted Gods call to preach the following year. After graduating from Neville High School, Bishop Looney went on to attend Liberty School of Ministry and Bible Institute in Monroe, LA and now Dominion theological seminary in Brooklyn, New York.
Bishop Lamario Looney’s Ministry began as he served for 7yrs as Youth Pastor for Bishop R.L. Edwards at the First House of Prayer Church and 1 year as an Assistant Pastor of the now Miracle Center Church.
He organized the New Nation Evangelistic Assembly Inc. established in 2002, and appointment Senior pastor of Berean Baptist Church in 2019 Bishop Lamario Looney has stepped into the role of Senior Pastor with tremendous humility, which has yielded great results as God continuously uses him to His glory.
Bishop Lamario Looney is the husband of one wife, Pastor Brenda G. Looney and the father of three sons Sherman, Albert , Deshawn and one beautiful daughter Brooklyn.
Pastor Brenda Looney is a true example of the Proverbs 31 woman. She’s a faithful servant and prayer warrior of the Lord Jesus Christ, loving and devoted wife for over 13 years, a dedicated mother, mentor and business woman . She walks along side her husband Bishop LaMario J. Looney, she efficiently helps to manage the church’s business, and is always willing to assist in any capacity. She operates in her role as a Co-Pastor is like none other. She is a down to earth jovial and balanced woman of God. She just doesn’t sit to be waited on but she serves in any capacity.
Pastor B as she is affectionately called earned one associate degree in medical assistant and is now working on her associates in biblical studies, from Dominion Theological Seminary of Brooklyn, New York. God has blessed her with the gifts of grace and administration which has afforded her the ability to be an outstanding leader and she is also the founder of the Sisterhood Precious Pearls which encourages many sisters in Christ Jesus.
Pastor B walks in the wisdom and favor of God, her ability to multitask in several capacities is a great asset to the ministry. But, her special interest focuses on moral standards of young ladies. She’s excited about promoting positive thinking and a forum of excellence into the lives of the up and coming female generation.
Pastor B takes pleasure in the family structure, therefore spending time with her husband, three sons, one daughter and grandchildren is a significant part of her life.
